Walk the Earth ICELAND: The Secret Life of Wildling Nikki

Iceland has been in my mind for the past months. Aside from the Northern Lights being one of bucket list to see before I die, I have been seeing a lot of blog posts and travel features about this remarkable country.

Ever since I watched The Secret Life of Walter Mitty , I saved up a space in my heart for Iceland. That scene where Walter was long boarding pumped up my wander-lustful heart. The dream for an adventure, walking, driving, cycling and long boarding (if only I knew how) in scenic places around the world.

Last September, after my trip around Scandinavia, my friends and dream travel buddies Nikki and Joncy went on a roadtrip around Iceland. Looking at their instagram feeds were dreadful (at the same time very inspiring). I felt so envious. I want to leave my office and hop on the next available flight to Reykjavik.

Joncy who is the man behind Walk The Earth, a series of travel videos, posted 15 second-videos of their 2500-Kilometer Roadtrip.  I got goosebumps watching these clips and recently he did a full compilation and the result was stunning. Breathtaking views, powerful musical score and of course with my beautiful friend and Philippine Surfing’s Golden Girl Nikki. This video is truly amazing. If you watch the whole video, you will see our Surat Journal at the end sending sweet kisses to all those looking for their next adventures.

Hope you guys enjoy the video as much as I did. I have been watching this for 10x now. haha.

NOTE: Set your Youtube in HD.
